InnGrid — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
InnGrid is a reservation calendar for small accommodation owners. It is built to keep your data on your device, under your control. We run no servers, require no account, and cannot see your data.
Data that stays on your device
Everything you enter in InnGrid — properties, rooms, reservations, guest names and contact details, prices, and notes — is stored in a local database on your iPhone or iPad. It never leaves your device unless you turn on iCloud sync (below). There is no sign-up, no login, and no InnGrid account.
Optional iCloud backup & sync (Premium)
If you purchase Premium and enable iCloud sync, your InnGrid data is stored in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) and synced between your devices by Apple. We have no server of our own and no technical ability to access, read, or share that data — only your Apple ID can. iCloud storage is governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy. Sync is off by default and you can turn it off at any time.
Purchases (the only data a third party processes)
Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. To deliver and restore your purchase, the app uses RevenueCat, which processes an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier and your purchase history for this app. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other identity, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. In App Store privacy-label terms: Purchases — used for App Functionality, Not Linked to You, No Tracking.
No analytics, no ads, no tracking
InnGrid contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no trackers. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports beyond what Apple provides with your consent, location data, or anything else about you or your guests.
Notifications
Arrival and payment reminders are optional, off by default, and generated locally on your device. They are never sent through our or anyone else’s servers.
Your guests’ data
As the host, you may enter your guests’ names and contact details into the app. That data follows the same rules as everything else: it stays on your device (or in your private iCloud, if you enabled sync) and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You are responsible for handling your guests’ information in line with the laws that apply to your business (for example the GDPR, if you operate in the EU).
Children
InnGrid is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to this policy
If InnGrid’s data practices ever change, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
