BedBooking alternative

A booking calendar that stays free.

If you run a handful of rooms and BedBooking’s room tiers feel like a lot for a calendar, InnGrid is the smaller answer: the calendar is free forever, it works with no account and no signal, and Premium is optional. This page also says plainly where BedBooking is the better choice — you should not switch to something that cannot do what you need.

Choose InnGrid if…

  • you run a small place and want an occupancy board, not a platform;
  • you want the calendar to cost nothing, permanently, with no per-room tier;
  • you work on iPhone, iPad or Mac and want it to run offline, in the doorway;
  • you want your data on your device (and, optionally, in your own iCloud) — not in an account you have to keep paying for.

Stay with BedBooking if…

  • you need a two-way channel manager that closes dates on Booking.com and Airbnb automatically;
  • you work on Android, Windows or in a browser;
  • you need per-room pricing plans, an online booking engine, or a team on a web account.

What it costs

Both apps sell through the App Store, so these are like-for-like prices taken from the German App Store on 26 July 2026. Prices change — check the current figures before you decide.

What InnGrid deliberately does not do

InnGrid imports calendars from Booking.com, Airbnb, Google Calendar or any iCal address — one way. It does not push your availability back, so it will not close dates on a portal for you. There is no online booking engine, no guest messaging, no invoicing, no Android app and no web app. If a two-way channel manager is what you are shopping for, InnGrid is the wrong tool and BedBooking’s Pro plan (or Smoobu, or Beds24) is the right shape.

What you get for free

The occupancy board (rooms × nights, week/two-week/month zoom), double-booking protection that refuses an overlapping confirmed stay, multi-room bookings and same-day day stays, meals per booking with a daily kitchen count, a guest directory with search, monthly and yearly stats, a daily housekeeping list you can share with your cleaner as plain text, arrival and payment reminders, a Today home-screen widget, backup and CSV export, .ics export, and 11 languages. Premium adds the iCal import, private iCloud sync across your devices, multiple buildings on one board, and calendar sharing with a co-host or cleaner — the person you share with pays nothing.

Questions people actually ask

Is InnGrid really free, or free for a while?

The booking calendar is free forever, with unlimited rooms and unlimited bookings, and it is not a trial. Premium is optional and adds Booking.com / Airbnb / iCal import, private iCloud sync across your devices, multiple buildings on one board, and calendar sharing.

Can I bring my BedBooking calendar into InnGrid?

Partly, and it is worth being precise. InnGrid imports iCal (.ics) calendars — a file or a feed URL — so bookings exported that way come across with their dates, room and guest name. There is no automated migration of a full BedBooking account, and imported bookings arrive as calendar entries, not as prices or payment history.

Does InnGrid work without an internet connection?

Yes. The calendar is stored on your device and every part of it works offline; there is no InnGrid account and no server of ours in the middle. Only two features need the network: importing calendars from Booking.com or Airbnb, and iCloud sync between your own devices.

Is there an Android or web version?

No. InnGrid runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS 17 or later) and on Apple Silicon Macs. If you need Android, Windows or a browser, BedBooking covers all three and InnGrid does not.
